We were very satisfied with the service and professionalism of Bamboo Bob and his employees. They did a great job removing the bamboo we had in our backyard. It was a pleasure working with them and glad we were able to solve our problem in a very timely manor.

After losing ash trees to the emerald borer infestation, and after the deer went to town on other vegetation, we called on Bamboo Bob, who sent Jeff to survey our property. We agreed on the locations, numbers and types of plants. The crew arrived and did an excellent job dealing with the rocky environment and hilly terrain. The finished product exceeds my expectations: the 15- to 20-foot high plants look like they’ve been there for years and they give us the privacy we hoped for. I highly recommend Bamboo Bob, his team – and those lovely bamboo plants.

We hired Bamboo Bob to install a bamboo barrier and remove bamboo growth from intrusion of our neighbors property in September 2020.

Jeff and his crew showed up on time, were very professional and responsive to our requests. While the job required significant excavation, they were very neat and mindful of sparing damage to our yard.

Bamboo Bob was not the cheapest contractor we contacted, but after speaking to them and researching their work, we knew they were the right contractor for the job. I would recommend anyone with a need in this specialized area to hire their services.

Bamboo Bob, Jeff, and the rest of the crew were fantastic. They tackled a huge job which involved working around foundation, in ground pool, fences, tree roots, gas line, neighbor’s property, and municipal land. It was a job many other companies didn’t want to touch. Property is free of bamboo (“vile weed” – Newman) now and it’s reassuring BB’s work comes with a lifetime warranty. If the vile weed is invading your property, BB is the only company you should even consider hiring.

I would recommend Bamboo Bob to anyone. Jeff and Bob brought out a team of workers who did a great job. They were all courteous and very diligent in their work. The removal and the final clean-up was exceptional.

It was a pleasure working with Bob. He came to my property and went over my needs. He helped to guide me in the right direction as to the amount of bamboo I needed to satisfy my needs of privacy. Bob went above and beyond in not only his service but in the quality of bamboo he planted. He even contacted me two weeks after installation to let me know a big storm was coming. Since there has not been enough time for the plants to properly root, he came back to tie up the bamboo as to insure is did not get damaged in the storm. I would absolutely recommend Bob and look forward to utilizing his services again.

He explained the work fully to both me and my neighbor in advance, was present the day of removal and made sure we were completely satisfied. We had to remove some of our fabulous bamboo because it had gotten too massive and was spreading — but Bamboo Bob was able to preserve a wonderful grove with a self-limiting barrier, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Needed to regain some privacy when neighbors took down trees. Did some of our own research, which Bamboo Bob confirmed would work. Like another reviewer, we used 6x2x2 stock tanks to prevent spread. Bob told us how to prepare the planting space and met with us to show different varieties and to make sure he was giving us what we wanted. Within a couple of days, the bamboo was delivered! They are in perfect shape, very healthy, and a beautiful addition to our outdoor living space!

Bob installed bamboo on a steep hill at the rear of my property in 2008, and has maintained it as needed over the last twelve years. The bamboo stopped soil erosion on the hill, provides a visual and sound barrier between my home and a busy street, and stays green and beautiful all year. Bob and his team helped me in a situation where timing was of the essence. His team came in to remove a considerable amount of bamboo in a 3 day time span and didn’t leave a trace where he had to access the bamboo. I contacted Bamboo Bob he was very knowledgeable about Bamboo in every way . He gave me great advise and supplied me with 37 Happy bamboo plants. He explained the fact it was necessary to install a barrier which I did and I now have bamboo plants on both sides of my property. Using his direction on feeding and watering I now have multiple new plants filling in my bamboo screens and I am loving the look.

3 years ago Bamboo Bob and his team contained an hedge of invasive bamboos I planted 15 years ago. The bamboos were advancing into our neighbor’s deck and totally out of control. The bamboos form a beautiful natural screen at the border of the property. Now since the plants cannot spread, they are becoming more dense and affording more natural privacy. I most highly recommend their work.

We couldn’t be happier with our bamboo purchase! We bought some in September of 2017, planted in bins for a privacy screen for our backyard.
